Report will be sent to Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau: Hardeep Singh Puri

Minister of Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday notified that the investigator-in-charge Captain SS Chahar, who is penetrating Air India Express crash, will “send the report to Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) ideally within 5 months from the date of order.”

Captain Chahar was selected by the Director-General of AAIB on August 13, 2020, for penetrating this case.

” The investigator-in-charge will identify the possible cause and contributing elements resulting in this mishap,” the Union Minister specified in a written reply in Rajya Sabha to an unstarred concern.

The Air India Express flight bring 190 guests consisting of 10 babies skidded while landing at Karipur airport in Kozhikode on August 7.
