Ashok Gasti, a BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Karnataka, passed away of the lethal coronavirus today, simply months after he was chosen to the upper home.
The 55-year-old was from Raichur in north Karnataka and was formerly a booth-level employee.
After his election in June this year, Mr Gasti did not get a possibility to go to Parliament due to the pandemic. He was a newbie Rajya Sabha member.
