Some unidentified assailants allegedly burnt a businessman to demise after looting Rs 11 lakh money from him in Haryana’s Hisar district, police stated on Wednesday. The person was 35.
The incident came about within the Hansi space on Tuesday night time, they stated.
Ram Mehar, a resident of Knowledge village on Bhatla-Knowledge street in Hansi, was going dwelling in his automobile when the robbers intercepted him, police stated.
The attackers then allegedly looted the businessman, locked him within the automobile and set it on hearth, they stated.
On receiving data, police rushed to the spot and located Mr Mehar charred to demise contained in the car. Later, the family members of the sufferer had been contacted after he was recognized by the quantity plate of the car.
Mr Mehar, who owned a manufacturing unit of disposable cups and plates in Barwala, was travelling to Knowledge village from Hisar after withdrawing Rs 11 lakh from a financial institution, the sufferer’s household informed police.
A case has been registered towards unknown individuals and the CCTV footage from the world is being scrutinised to hint the culprits, stated Hansi police spokesperson Subhash.
