In a letter to Thackeray, Mr Fadnavis mentioned the retreating monsoon had prompted heavy rainfall in Marathwada, western Maharashtra and elements of Vidarbha, leading to huge crop harm over 1000’s of hectares.

“The Thackeray authorities ought to declare moist drought in order that farmers, who’ve suffered closely resulting from lack of crops, can get reduction,” the chief of opposition within the state Meeting mentioned.
