India has urged the United Nations to revive its power to play a higher position in sustaining worldwide peace and safety to counter-terrorism.
Addressing the Sixth Committee of the seventy fifth session of the United Nations Common Meeting (UNGA) on ”Measures to Remove Worldwide Terrorism”, Yedla Umasankar, First Secretary/Authorized adviser in India’s Everlasting Mission to the UN, mentioned that the UN must coordinate with businesses like Monetary Motion Process Drive (FATF) to counter terrorism.
