A 28-year-old man in Delhi has been arrested for allegedly duping his former colleague on the pretext of getting him a job within the Ministry of Finance, the police stated right this moment.

“On Thursday, Dutt got here to Aggarwal’s store in Raghunath Market, Jaitpur and demanded Rs 3,000 extra and informed the sufferer that some paperwork have been nonetheless pending. The sufferer and his father then realised that they have been being cheated, following which they caught him and referred to as the police,” Further Deputy Commissioner of Police (southeast) Kumar Gyanesh stated.

Copy of ID card, tax bill slips, membership card and entry cross have been recovered from the possession of the accused, they added.
